it is what it is. the blocks are pretty cheap and the letters aren’t even centered on the die. no instructions, but it’s pretty obvious what to do. does not look anything like the pictures. i usually only get one or two vowels, so that makes it a hard game. 2.5 stars is what i would give

This was gonna be a stocking stuffer but it was very poorly made, there were no directions with it, and the tin was dented. Returned it as soon as I opened it

Not the best quality. Ads for the original Q-less game show plastic (?) Bakelite dice. These are clunkier. Dice are wooden and paint is spotty.That said, these knock-offs were far cheaper with free shipping. The game is like one-man scrabble, we’ve all been enjoying the challenge, and continue to play it daily.

This is a great idea for a solitaire game of words. It is just a set of very sturdy dice with letters on each side. You roll the dice and try to use all the letters that turn up to make a completed crossword puzzle. The words have to be connected in some way. That is harder than just making words. There is the challenge. I truly like the game and have played for several hours so far. I do not see the significance of the metal round case though. It is a good case, but I think more imagination could have gone into that part of the game for a better case. The case does not really match the dice, plus it is noisy when the dice are shaken up. It works, but I think could be better. This is an ideal travel game to play anywhere to keep the mind busy plus it is perfect for anyone - kids or adults.

Although the label says it’s a 12 dice game, I have 14 dice, so I’m guessing this isn’t the original, but is possibly a knock off.That being said, this is a fun brain game.It came with no instructions, but the photos of the product are pretty self explanatory - make as many crossword puzzle-type words as you can. I like to time myself and see how many words I can make.I had a tough time deciding how many stars to give this version. I’ve decided on 4, because I don’t know whether or not this is the real product.
