Bought over a year ago for my 90 mustang build and went to charge it today and leaks, like bad. Maybe 4 seasons used to be good but this changes my opinion of them.

I would give this evaporator a five star rating if only the top tube were the right length. Unfortunately, all of the replacement evaporators that I was able to find for my 93 fox mustang GT have a tube that is too short and will NOT connect to the accumulator. I had to cut the tube off of my old evaporator about half length and expand it very carefully, then cut the new fitting off and weld my old fitting in place. (Aluminum tube) It was the ONLY way that I could replace the original evaporator on my Mustang. Having done it, the evaporator is excellent with two extra plates in it. It cools a little better than the stock unit. If you're willing to do the work, it is a good core. Pressure test it first before attempting the job so that you don't get stuck with a bad unit though, because after it's cut, I'm sure that your stuck with it. Maybe the more recent units have this problem fixed???
