Appears to be good quality, but like other reviewers stated, I had issues with the angle of the suction tube. Angle is off a bit, making reinstallation of the line difficult. But I got it in, and it’s working fine.

After about a month, it's still working great in an 03 Grand Marquis. This item was priced lower than anywhere else, either online or in store. A great value.

Well made and tubing throats are properly formed and accept o-ring stem piping smoothly. Schrader stem is vertical, just like the OE I took out and it comes with the tiny o-ring already in place with clean cut threads. Geometry and fitment are hand-in-glove to OE. I am tempted to knock one star since when I pulled the shipping caps, there was no vacuum in the cylinder to keep the desiccant dry, but for the price point, I am not going to ding it. Besides, the tubes were capped and that gets us most of the way to where we need to be. As a helpful hint, if you do replace the Accumulator, an o-ring assortment (rated for A/C use) is good to have as changing out o-ring seals when everything is pulled apart is cheap insurance against future leaks. Also, you will need to re-use the original mounting bracket. Three 13mm bolts attach the bracket to the frame on a Marauder and then to swap out the Accumulator, you can open the bracket like a clam shell after backing out two T-30 bolts that hold the halves together.

Worked perfect to replace the rusted out original Accumulator. No issues - direct replacement. Even included o-rings. Great product. Don;t forget to add an ounce or so of AC oil (PAG-46 in our vehicle) in to the Accumulator before installing. You can empty the old part to see how much oil to add to the system.

My AC stopped working, and noted the stock accumulator was soaked/dripping freon. This is a very common problem for my car, 2003 Grand Marquis, as the stock accumulator is made of steel. This should not be a problem again as this part is made of aluminum. Be careful with installation and make sure the stock brackets do not have any sharp edges so that it will not puncture this accumulator

Exactly what I needed to fix my AC. apparently this one is aluminum and shouldnt rot out like the original, but then again my original was 13 years old 200,000 miles. It comes with no directions but none are really needed. I have no clue what the bag of o-rings attached to it were for. the 2 separate bags of O-rings are for the 2 pipes connecting into it. 3 O-rings per pipe and 2 spring rings which I did not replace as there was no reason too, mine were still perfect. You need an expansion ring tool to disconnect the pipes these can be acquired at harbor freight for $5. they slip under the o-ring springs expanding them beyond the lip of the pipe so you can pull them apart. be sure to release the pressure out of the system. I poured my PAG Oil directly into this as youtube videos showed.

Finally have the air conditioning working in my car again! I purchased an open box return item for less than the advertised price, and it arrived quickly, in original packaging, and looked like it had not even been removed from the box. Installed it and it worked great, the A/C is blowing nice and cold in my car now.

Works as advertised and fit perfect,on my 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis! Just be sure to save your old accumulator holder/mount as it doesn't come with one. It does come with plenty of O-rings and even an extra quick release spring.
