I purchased 2 units. One was properly plumbed for a pipe thread plug or sensor; the other was NOT. Also, these units are NOT exact replacements for OEM. They are, in fact, a ROUGH version of the original and under temp and pressure, hose connections will leak unless you use sealant and NEW worm (or other) clamps. Rather than purchase one of these, find a used OEM PART ONLINE, THEN CLEAN AND PAINT IT. That is what I eventually had to do.

Works just fine but it is Not as pictured, has a large flat protrusion on top like the 84801 housing but not drilled. Might be useful to some. Included Gasket is incorrect.

Casting is thick and somewhat crude, not nearly as good as the original equipment. Included gasket didn't match the flange. I ended up just cleaning and polishing a 50 year old original. I'll keep this as a spare in case I need it one day, as the price wasn't too bad and it's not worth the hassle of a return.

Casting was rough but fit well on 1974 Bricklin, which has AMC 360. Bypass hole seemed slightly smaller than stock.

Great little replacement water neck for my '72 Jeep CJ5 with a 360 in it. It has a beautiful aluminum casting that is sand blasted, so it matches my aluminum intake perfectly. My brand new thermostat locked up and it was spitting water past the factory neck so I figured I would just replace both. With a new Stant gasket, it should be good to go .I would like to say thank you for a nice quality piece to all of the folks at Four Seasons.

It does fit my AMC 401 with Edelbrock intake.The gasket that is supplied with it doesn't line up with the bolt holes so I used a Fel-Pro one I had laying around.The casting is rough but again it did fit
