I installed this fan motor on a 1995 Cherokee XJ along with the Four Seasons 35534 Blower Motor Wheel. This combo blows pretty strong and fit just like the original that it replaced. I read reviews on some blower motors that said the the little hose port was in the wrong spot. For this motor the hose port was in the correct location for my 1995 XJ.

Bought the cheap one first. Mistake! Hole orientation not correct on the cheap one, no air volume on the cheap one. This one is like what came from the factory in my 93 xj. Will need to keep your original plug and swap onto the new one.

Make sure you test for proper rotation before installing as the wire colors are not the same as original.

Fitment was perfect on my 91 dodge b250 van. It's worth mentioning that the wire color was backwards so fan rotation was also backwards, so it felt like it wasn't putting out much air. Also had to solder and heat shrink as it's just bare wire leads. Otherwise it was a good buy and happy with purchase.

Works fine but it is very noisy. I hear it hum on every speed which is the most annoying just sitting on low at idle. Original factory one with over 100,000 miles on it I could not ever hear except on high. Whenever I kill the engine I hear it spin down, I would return it but it's not easy to install in a van so I don't wanna pull it out. Note: it doesn't come with the fan cage OR OEM wiring connector so you have to cut and splice wires.UPDATE: I was thinking that my new resistor wasn't working or my vents weren't blowing from the right place but I finally got a chance to look into it and no, all blower speeds are fine and the vents are blowing from the correct location it just turns out the fan is crummy and is barely blowing. My old original blower would throw my hair back but this one I can barely feel, This will not work for summer so now I pulled it and returned

This blower motor dropped right in to my 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ.My OEM Blower Motor was starting to make some terrible screeching sounds during operation. Replacing it made my life so much better and my thoughts clear again while driving.Keep in mind that this BM does not come with an air seal, fan, or connector. You are going to have to use these parts from your old BM, or buy new ones compatible with your needs. It is meant to be semi universal, meaning you will need to cut and solder on your own connector (I used the old one with some heat shrink) and you will have to install the old or a new fan to the motor.All in all this was a pretty cheap solution to bring back my sanity. Job took me approximately 45 minutes due to the connector.
