A while back I tried a few different brands. These are the winner. Firm but not excessive compression. They perk me up. Love the feel!!!

They require a slight break-in, maybe 2-3 miles, but man do they rock!They wick moisture very well, keep your feet from rubbing against any stitching in your boots, and clean super easy in the field (just don’t forget to wash them inside out).

Where have these pair of socks been!?!?! They are amazing. Comfortable with boots. I wear them with my Dan Post Western Boots. Love it! Comfortable. Stays up and does not fall. Wow!

These socks are durable AND comfortable. They fit well. In the past, I always bought cheaper socks and just thought I was hard on socks. A military friend of mine turned me on to Fox River. I was appalled at the price (these are not the most expensive socks out there), but bought a pair to try out. I have since replaced all of my old socks with Fox River Fatigue Fighter Over the calf socks. I specify the fatigue fighter because I had a pair of their other socks and was not happy with them.

As others pointed out, these are great quality compression socks with extra padding where it’s needed. Super comfortable, compression improves circulation and no blisters or discomfort even wearing them on long walks for 12+ hours.They are a bit expensive, but worth it. I’ve bought a new pair every month or two until I had enough to wear all the time, wear them for work, hiking, biking, hot, cold, they are great. My first pair is almost two years old and can notice a bit of superficial wear and tear, but otherwise can’t really tell difference from newer pairs.

I am an armed guard now, spending hours wandering around on concrete and gravel. I am also now officially 'old'. And diabetic. I thought socks were socks, and bought them out of the bargain bin.Socks have gotten very smart. This set, if you inspect them, has multiple areas that are weaved different. Where my feet and ankle fronts get beat up, there is poofy shin protection. The toe tips have a spandex-like feel to them. The bottoms have an interesting, almost felt-like weave.These things are *expensive*. I assumed they wouldn't last. It's now been two years, the 'elasticness' is still great even being washed multiple times a week (12 hour shifts), the color is still fast... and I'm impressed.You know the dents you get in your legs from your socks? These calf length ones almost completely stop that. My feet and lower legs have practically stopped hurting. I have big calves, and the size I ordered didn't squish them.I will be ordering these again really soon; if you value your ability to get around without pressure sores, or blisters, or the effects of diabetes... you will too!

I bought these as a gift. He likes them a lot. They stay up and are warm and comfortable. They've been washed and dried multiple times and are still doing what a good sock is supposed to do. Worth the money!

I love these socks!! I have large calfs and have been looking for a long time for comfortable compression socks. These are great in boots also because they don't bunch up or slide around inside your boots.I would definitely recommend this product.

Never used compression socks before, they work great! confidently wearing slip on boots I have rarely been able to or dared to slip on for over a year.I have expensive mud boots from Georgia Boot, easy to slip on European military jack boots for flat footed old fat guys. Good work boots in the $200.00 range with years of good use in them still for guys who can't wear a Wellington anymore behind decades on their feet and fallen arches.While they are on sale I've ordered 8 pairs this week alone, I'd like a pair for every day and every night. I find I am walking around more, the right foot gear makes it easier. I wish I hadn't accepted swollen feet, ankles and lower legs as just part of aging so long . I trust I have an eye for quality and these seem a bargain.

My husband really like these socks, but the price is a little high. We came on Amazon looking for work socks for him because the ones he was buying previously (Rocky) are incredibly pricey. These are about the same price, but he says that are more comfortable. My husband wears a size 10 boot, so we ordered a Large. They are VERY long on him, they come up almost past his knees! I think that if we do end up buying more, I may order a Medium instead and hopefully they will fit a little better. Just wish the price wasn't so high!
