Free up your counter space! I'm so glad to gain space where the knife block used to sit. Scissors can be tricky to hang with any wall block due to their curves. Mine stuck but I prefer a command hook for those. This wall block can hold the knife you cut a watermelon with, the longer length one, it does stick to the magnet. That is a type of knife that does not fit in most blocks. It is convenient to have the meal prep tools adjacent to the cutting board.

It looks good, but it's not actual wood. Holds knives securely, which is what really matters. The screws show; a way to conceal them work be nice.

After trying out several less expensive magnet knife holders and extensive research online I have purchased Fox Run product. This is by far the best quality magnetic knife holder I have ever had. Superior magnet quality, simple design and direct to the wall attachment with 2 screws. Your knifes will NOT fall down in the middle of the night, ever! Thanks Fox Run for a quality product!

The magnet strip is great but arrived appearing to have some finish gone on the actual metal strips. It was listed as used but in "very good" condition. This missing finish does not seem to effect the magnet strength but the strips do look dull in places. The magnets are plenty strong enough to hold my heavier knives.I was hesitant to buy the 18" strip because I didn't think I needed it that long. However, I did purchase 18" and am glad I did because I have also used it for items other than knives. It holds my peeler and corer. They are easy to reach making more space in my drawer.The only drawback is the screws included are quite short. They scarcely go into the wall; I would guess at no further than 1/2". As a result I replaced them with much longer screws. In some cases you may need to use Molly screws as it is quite weighty. Overall I am very happy with this strip and would buy it again.

What I don't like about blocks is you can't just take it apart and clean the insides. I really don't know what may have got in there and started to grow! I also like this magnetic strip because it clears up counter space that I desperately need at my new house. I have a random door that leads to my kitchen I still can't figure out why there is an actual door there since it stays open all the time, but I decided to place this magnetic strip behind the door so it hides the knives. My thoughts are that this hopefully will prevent any accident from becoming a trip to the emergency room/vet. I have 2 Boxers who notice everything so the door blocks them from trying to paw a knife off the strip also if a knife comes off the strip it will fall behind the door and not cut the dogs or a kid, this I believe is very highly doubtful but just in case you know.The magnets are pretty strong and hold the knives very securely. Easy to wipe off with a disinfectant wipe, and noting moves once placed on there. I like the natural wood color, but may paint white just to match everything. Make sure when removing your knife that you grab the handle and twist towards the spine and when placing back on the strip you place the spine on first and twist it to lay flat. This will prevent the blade from getting chipped or dull.

This magnetic tool holder is ok, but doesn't hold the heavier tools as well. I have a metal tape measure that stays on the bar if it's positioned the right way, but if I accidentally brush up against it grabbing for another tool, there it goes. It's only good for lightweight stuff.

Bought these to store knives in a commercial kitchen in a sanitary and safe location. These are a bit more expensive than some others, and they are superior in every way.They really, really hold securely whether the knife is dry or wet from just being washed / rinsed and sanitized. The maple is dense, and apparently completely impervious to moisture.

Overall, this is a good product for the price, looks great and has a simple, clean design. However, the magnets are not strong enough to hold the knives horizontal and the heavier end of the knife has to hang below. Does make me slightly nervous that bumping into the wall where it is mount might jar the knives loose but since this has yet to happen, and a couple of door bangs later, I am happy with this product.

I was a little concerned about buying a magnetic knife holder; there is no doubt that this magnet is the greatest, very strong and no reservations about it holding heavier knives. This was an excellent buy and value for the money.
