Product works as expected, only complaint is packaging opened during shipping and lost some of the collets and o rings. Guess I will be buying replacements.

If you reload I highly recommend this tool. Disassembles cartridges without damage. Tool looks to be durable. You don't need this tool everyday but it nice to have it when you do.I would recommend this tool to a friend.

This bullet puller works very well and appears to be well made. I especially like the fact it comes with 3 different size shell holders and the o-rings to hold the shell holder pieces together. I have only used it once so cannot say anything about how well it will hold up to a lot of use, but based on my limited use of it I give it 5 stars.

I was very skeptical of these as the price was dirt dog cheap. But, this bullet puller works very well. It's a bummer when you have to pull apart a completed cartridge for whatever reason. I was thinking of buying bullet puller dies and collets but came across this device. First,, you need to have a proper place to strike against. I use the end of a short 2 X 4 board and it works great. Don't strike it against the concrete floor or your counter tops. It works by holding the back of the cartridge and allows the bullet to pull itself out by inertial energy. Bullet and powder go onto the tube. It's a little messy but it works. Well worth the money

I broke the one I had used since 1980 (pretty good, huh?) and just replaced it with this one. The little aluminum collet to hold the case in position will give up eventually but a shell holder is a better option since it's flat surface will not chew out a divot in the plastic over time. Very usefull tool for the loading bench

First let me say I have a collet bullet remover and I use it too; only thing is there is often a minor amount of damage to some (not all) kinds of bullets with the collet remover no matter which collet I use. Not so with this one; they all come out unscathed. The thing I like most about this bullet puller is not pulling bullets. Instead I keep a supply of wooden dowels cut to the O.A.L. of the cartridge I am loading + .030" so when I press one too deep I insert the proper dowel and give it a whack. Now I am ready to back off the seater die and reseat the bullet with no spilled powder and no prep to reinsert the bullet. In all fairness I should note that I always (and I mean aways) do a separate step for seating and crimping. The concept is very simple; instead of pulling the bullet and making a mess, the impact puller only drives it down to O.A.L + .030".I too went through the hassle of broken o-rings, but eventually found a source in the auto supply. Now I have learned from another reviewer you can use the shell holder for the case you are loading in the impact puller without hassling with the o-rings.I am not sure about this 2x4 end grain thing. To be frank, I whack mine on my vice and it works better that way than any other (especially wooden surfaces) I have found. Will it ever completely replace my collet puller? No. However it has a permanent place in my reloading processes. Definitely recommended. A fine tool.

Considering these Collette's were supposed to be included with the kinetic bullet puller I ordered I am satisfied.Even if It cost me extra. It wasn't worth the hassle of returning a perfectly good puller and also quicker to separately order then ship items back and forth.

A bit of heresy: This thing works fine for much tougher jobs than you might think. I pull surplus military rifle ammo and reload it for greater accuracy, lately a bunch of Yugoslavian 7.62x39. The bullets are sealed with something like oil-base paint and they're crimped. This puller takes them out without problems.Use a smooth brick on your workbench and cover with a paper towel in order to not chew up the puller. Wear a leather glove, put the round in a shell holder for the caliber, stand well back, swing from the elbow (not the wrist) and smack HARD. Adjust your vigor as required to get most bullets on the first swing.Tapping will work for non-crimped, non-sealed bullets (sport handgun ammo ...) but the bullet must move when you strike or you can do it forever without making progress.I'm sure the puller won't last forever doing this, but I've pulled about 160 rounds so far without any sign of crazing or cracking. I bought a spare and will keep one ahead. I will make a steel washer to go between the shell holder and the body of the puller in order to spread the force there as I can see the holder is indenting the plastic. That will also make the puller work slightly more easily.I used to make my own pullers from half inch PVC pipe; they lasted 200-400 rounds in the summer, often under 100 outdoors in the winter until I started warming them before use. This puller may also do better if at a normal room temperature.I'll report when the first puller fails.

After some research of bullet pullers and realizing I don't use them very often I thought id settle on price instead of quality. I was wrong. This thing is well made and works flawlessly. It has 3 collets to use for different sizes of cases and is constructed of good material. Instructions are vague but you tube has an easy video on it and anybody who has been reloading for a short time or all their life can use this product with ease. Great product!
