Pants are as advertised. They are lightweight, look sharp and very comfortable. Ideal when wearing shorts are possible. Easy on and off for switching to and from shorts.

I ordered these for my son to try out to see if he liked them, he's not a fan of jeans and he's all about comfort. He really loves these pants, he says there super soft and comfortable and he loves the way they look. I made sure to order him pants that are convertible such as these, that's an important factor to him. He prefers to mostly wear pants (except when he's running) but sometimes, when it gets really hot, he likes to have the option of quickly converting them into shorts and just storing the leg portions in his backpack. I ordered him a size 32x32, he's currently 5'10" and about 130 lbs. I normally have a hard time finding pants that aren't way to loose yet long enough for his height but these pants fit him great with some room to grow and the belt helps to keep them snug around his hips. The fabric and the seams of these pants seem to be of excellent quality and durable. He's not had any rips/tears or any other issues with them as of yet. I'll be ordering more! Once I find any type of clothing that he actually likes, I try my best to stick with the brand/style as long as I can!

I got these for an upcoming watercraft vacation. They fit well and are comfortable. My wife likes them on me so much that I ordered another pair in a different color. The legs zip on and off easily enough. These breath well, so they are good for warm weather, but in the winter, they well probably not get much use, unless also wearing long underwear for warmth. They would be good for a bug out bag so that one pair of pants can take the place of a pair of pants and shorts.

Purchased these for some Hiking in RMNP Colorado. Temperature was warm at the base but got chillier at elevation. They were extremely comfortable at both temps and unrestrictive when hiking. Last used Mt Etna Sicily perfect pants and easy to pack.

Giving these a mixed review. For the price they are a nice cheaper alternative to Columbia pants. If you can find the right size. I ordered these in green and baige in a size waist 32 size length 32 as recommended even though I'm a size 34 waist. The green pants fit perfectly. The beige were surprisingly too baggy. Putting them next to each other it's hard to believe these are both the same exact size lol. I'll be returning to beige as it is too wide and long.

I'm an avid hiker in Colorado. I've been wearing REI Sahara pants for years, until they changed the design (making them worse) and raised the price. Which drove me to Amazon to look for alternatives. I found a very reasonable one in these pants.Pros:• Ripstop fabric, more durable than my old REI pants.• Contains spandex, so stretches for comfort and blocks wind better than my old REI pants.• 2 deep cargo front pockets, zippered (holds my phone)• 2 rear velcro-closure pockets with flaps and grab strips• Elastic waistband for comfort and fit• Comes with a decent belt• Zip-off legs to convert to shorts• Very good overall construction quality--as good as the REI pants• Size 30" waist fits me fine (normally 29") due to elastic and belt. No size issues.• Front fastener (button) is attached with a nylon strip (much stronger than simple sewing; a nice touch)Cons:• Zip-off leg zippers are NOT color coded, resulting is possible confusion when reattaching legs (Bad design; I've color-marked them as an easy fix)• Front belt loops are far enough apart that the belt sometimes slips above the waistband (Bad design)• Shorts legs are a couple of inches too long for easy, non-binding uphill hiking (personal preference)• Pant legs do NOT side-zip off, requiring (often muddy) shoe removal when converting to shorts or back to long pants (REI pants had full side zips)Bottom line: RECOMMENDED. Very good pants for the money.
