This was a very meh product. The manual was terrible and I had to watch a YouTube video that was half English and half Filipino with no subtitles to get it to work. There are two on buttons, one for the headset/mic and one for the video. One does not turn on the other nor does one turn off the other.Accessing the video requires a phone app that is challenging to use because you have to go through a convoluted process to create a temporary WiFi network with the camera itself.There’s better options out there. Don’t bother. It works, it does its job. The video quality is fine, the sound quality is just OK but getting there is a pain.3 stars for functionality, -2 stars for extreme difficulty of use

I need to repair 2 devices . It has no voice prompts I don't know if its recording??3 rd time I ordered this product!!I love the video and how easy it goes on my helmet.Bought in 2021 twiceAudio won't respond need to get it fixed.Hope the third time is a charm and a blessing!?

Used FreedConn for years, saw this, decided to try it out. Works very nicely, good battery life. Takes a learning curve on the controls for different functions as most FreedConn. However; software for it is a REAL Pain! Frequent issues on connecting(IF it connects), NO updates, NO customer support replies from FreedConn. Only had a few weeks, plan on using as I use the old ones ends and ditch any software hopes. Additionally it uses 5-pin connectivity. So if you use an older unit, you gotta buy extra speakers for EACH helmet.

The Bluetooth will not pair at all. The camera is mediocre at best. The sound is so low you can't hear it when on the phone and riding a motorcycle. The instruction book is printed microscopically. It wouldn't do you any good to call a customer service representative. it was purchased on DEC 22nd.

I ordered the R1 Plus and it arrived faster than i was told. I thought I had a battery issue and contacted customer service. I was immediately told it would be replaced. The customer people had me send them a video of what my unit was doing. They ran the startup sequence and found that I was just hearing the battery status announcement incorrectly. The speed and professionalism of the customer service department was outstanding.The unit itself is high quality and installation is very simple. Sound quality is good and the unit fits in my helmet well and easily.

I really liked this in the beginning. Poor camera quality and difficult to get set up to your phone (you have to down lord their app but it’s a horrible app) but it recorded and is good to have for insurance purposes. After a month it will no longer record. It keeps saying “media recording” and when you go to stop it, it will still say “media recording” but it never records. Even with an empty SD card. I haven’t been able to get it to record again. So that didn’t last long but at least I can still listen to music. I have a loud bike so it is not the greatest sound quality or volume but it keeps it from getting boring. Cannot connect other types of “freed on” brands. My husband has the helmet duo one from this brand and it won’t connect. Weird that they don’t make it universal for all their products. It was cheap for what it does but I’ll have to buy another camera soon to wear for riding. This doesn’t cut it… so I’m disappointed. Battery life is solid on it though. Last like it says it does.

It may seem a little bulky, but no different to having a GoPro stuck on your lid, The camera is amazing good colour and stability, you can take a picture if need be with the click of a button. The quality of the picture will not disappoint. the intercom is clear and got some nice bass when listening tp music, and clear voice when using sat nav, or talking to the pillion or fellow rider..It feels well built.Easy to install.But with something so good there has to be a down side, which is you only get the hard mic with the unit you have to order the soft mic separately, but there not that expensive, and the app is easy and good to use , but don't expect to see what you recorded through the app as it takes forever to load. Easier to eject the memory card and plug in to the laptopTwo minor issues compared to everything else being really good.Good buy not disappointed at all.
