- Old Version T-COM : The boot voice prompt is "Beep";
- New Version T-COM: The boot voice prompt is "Welcome to use FreedConn Product".
2. Please refer to the specific pairing steps are as follows:
- [Old T-COM] To press and hold the old version TCOM power button for 8 seconds until you see the red and blue lights flashing (for T-COM SC, the PAIRING state will appear on the screen), and enter the pairing status.(Note: You can hear the voice reminder "beep" only .)
- [New T-COM] To press the power button of new version T-COM for 2 seconds to turn on the device, and then long press the multi-function button for 8 seconds to enter the "enhanced" pairing status.(Note: To turn on the enhanced pairing mode, you need to firstly press the power button for 2s to turn on the device, it will enter the pairing status Automatically, and then you will hear the "pairing" voice prompt; secondly, long press the multi-function button for 8s to enter the enhanced pairing mode and you will hear the "pairing" voice prompt Again. At this time, the enhanced pairing mode is successfully turned on.)
- [New T-COM to search and connect Old T-COM]Short press the power button of the New T-COM to search and connect to the Old T-COM. (Note: When the connection is successful, you will hear the "Connected" voice prompt, T-COM VB will change from flashing Red&Blue lights to Blue light flashing Only; T-COM SC will change the LCD display icon from "PAIRING" to "Headphone-Mobile".)
- [Disconnected]Just short press the power button of the New T-COM to disconnect the Bluetooth intercom between the new and old version T-COMs.

After using it normally for 3 weeks the screen of one of them stopped working (I have the VC model), I wrote to the manufacturer's technical support but they never responded and I was able to return it to amazon. Other than that the sound quality is 2/5 for music but 5/5 for calls, and the battery life is long.

For the price this cannot be beaten. Works great on my bike with a fairing, but the speakers are not quite loud enough when I ride my Dyna at speeds over about 45mph. Just not quite powerful enough to overcome the wind and exhaust noise. My other gripe is that these do not connect with the last generation of the same headset. Had a set of the last model and lost one, so I bought this to replace it. Description said it would pair, but they will not. I am happy with this for the price, but I will be buying a premium mesh headset when it's time to replace it.
