I had to get this extension since Milwaukee has stopped selling their nicer 3/8in x 12in Long extension. If you want name brand options I only found Irwin and Freud in 3/8in x 12in long, or you can purchase two 3/8 x 6in Milwaukee extensions for ridiculously high prices.The Freud seems like an average black impact drill extension but the lock release collar seems less durable and fail proof than the old Milwaukee 3/8, extension. The plus side being this one sells cheaper than the Milwaukee.

Works on their hole saws. Stays locked on so you don't lose it over long distance. Like multi layer floors or walls.

Diablo doesnt make 3/8 shanks at least not anymore only 7/8 so thats a dead giveaway this is not authentic Diablo. Or maybe this brand is just naming this extension "diablo" who the hell knows. If it works then I'll use it.
