Stopped after the 3rd one! Really. Missing parts repeatedly. Then, when everything arrived, no matter what I did it would not run. I have used batch feed garbage disposals for years. I know how to use them. This one’s batch feeder was cheap - only plastic and nothing magnetic. It just did not turn it on. Find another brand.

This unit is a great value and easy to install as a replacement or first time installation. It is noisier than my original unit but definitely does the job just as well.

Plastic housing came cracked but works fine. I’d spend the extra money to have in put in another box for shipping to protect it.

The Good: It looks and feels solid. It's quieter than my 30 year old 1/3HP KitchenAid disposal it replaced. Time will tell is it's junk or not.4 Stars for the disposal unit itself.The BAD: My factory-sealed box was missing the screws and flange to secure the outlet pipe. I contacted Frigidaire support. I was told they DO NOT SELL THAT PART and I would have to contact the seller. WTF??? This was a fully intact package that they apparently FORGOT to put the little baggie of 3 parts inside, and they refused to send me the missing bits?? I had to pilfer the flange from my old disposal and BUY, out of my own pocket, the screws from the big box store because, of course, they were METRIC M6 and not 1/4-20 like my old disposal.Minus 2 Stars for Frigidaire's "customer service" raising my blood pressure 15 points and making me run out to the store.If I hadn't let the 30 day return window close due to kitchen renovation delays, I would have sent this back to Amazon, for no fault of Amazon at all, just because Frigidaire's customer service SUCKS so bad.

At first, I didn't think this unit worked. So, I spent time contacting Amazon and Frigidaire. (Frigidaire customer service is not available on weekends.) I kept pushing down on the stopper and turning it. My previous disposer by a different manufacturer worked that way. Printed information on the box did not provide any detail about turning it on. There was no product booklet in the box. Online I finally found how to do it. Line up the short, narrow slot with the switch on the disposer neck and push down. Other than the initial annoyance, it has worked fine.

First one arrived missing all the inside pieces: the black rubber thing that blocks anything from going inside, the metal piece that’s supposed to stop utensils from falling in… there were no pieces for the center of the machine. I exchanged it for another one. Second one arrived also missing all of the pieces inside. I installed it anyway because I needed a working sink already. Went through the whole install, plugged it in, it did not work. Did not turn on. Wish I could give it a real review, but what I received both times was crap. Sending it back for a refund.

It is not practical to use. You have to line up the head into the sink to use it there is no magnet it’s just plasticIt took a lot of space and noisy tooI am sorry to purchased this and paid a lot for installation otherwise I would return it
