It’s a direct swap in but there a cover in the stock motor which covers the bottom side of the motor of it, which blocks the heat and also quiet it down a bit more but there’s no way to fit it on the new one. Another thing is it does blow more cfm but it produces a bit of a whine (if you got a wife like mine you’ll be used to it already lol) all jokes aside good product just needs a little work
