I purchased this catalytic converter to replace the converter on my daughter's 2008 Nissan Altima. This fits the four cylinder like a glove. It definitely resolved the OBD2 code for catalyst efficiency. It came complete with the manifold gasket and gasket for the exhaust. The cost was very affordable. I installed this several months ago and the code has not returned. It appears to be high quality. The installation is contingent upon your expertise. I have more than forty years of automotive experience. I was able to complete the job at home in my driveway on the weekend. Make sure you are prepared to purchase new bolts to attach the heat shield so the converter. Looks exactly like the OEM converter.

This was the correct product for my car. However, due to poor welding of contact points for the heat shields I’m unable to install on my vehicle, see photo in addition product was advertised to come with new bolts/screws for the heat shields but they were not included. Finally the plugs for the holes for the O2 sensors were cross threaded into holes. I didn’t include any additional pictures because I already got it boxed up because I’m so annoyed to be this far along in my project and have to stop due to somebody’s laziness.

My mechanic installed this. Told me the hangers were in the wrong place so he had to cut and reweld them no biggie and I have a 2011 Altima. All in all it is/was a Great deal. Louder!!! Love it. I want another one for the otherside.

04 Nissan 2.5 s.My first warning sign was the heat shield mounting holes werent lined up so I had to mod the shield with a few new holes. The cay swap itself was easy but I noticed the alternator wouldn't fit back due to a lack of a divot in the far left pipe so I had to add washers to the mounting bracket pushing the alternator out I think 3/8 inch. Cat still touching the alternator, I had to mod the heat shield again. I'm not saying what I did was smart but I needed it. Belt went back on fine and it fixed my p0420.

This was hundreds of dollars cheaper than my mechanic's supplier.Thankfully my mechanic is ok with installing parts provided by me.We had no problem with this part, it was a direct fit.
