I got this so I could stop locking myself out 😂 it was easy to install once I figured out I had to switch out the barrel where the screws connect to the door when you connected it all together it's two barrels already in there but you got to switch those out and put the longer barrels in there once I did that everything was easy peasy

Be careful. This lock is only Bluetooth, not WiFi. This means you have to be nearby to use it, cannot control remotely from your phone. I’m going to return it.

It locks and connects to the app as advertised but only way I can get it to work and stay locked on the app is by sliding over to unlock no matter what I've done

1 Star – Complete Junk, Returning All 3I bought three of these Tuya smart deadbolts and every single one has been a disaster. None of them will connect to the app — I tried everything: resets, reinstalling, different phones, standing right next to the router. Nothing worked.You can change the code manually without the app (in theory), but the directions are so poorly written and useless that I couldn’t get it to work on any of them. Either the instructions are wrong, or the locks are just flat-out defective.Don’t waste your time or money. I’m sending all three back and putting my money toward something reliable — probably American-made this time. Lesson learned.

Ok, so yeah according to the review it’s not WiFi, but you’re also not paying $100 for it! For $30 you won’t find another one that lets you unlock with your phone! For $30 you’ll be lucky to get one that’s just a deadbolt and maybe a keypad.So, now for the review: doesn’t take any time to “wake up”, after I get out of my car I open the app and click the connect button, then once I’m within 7-10 feet I hear the beep and I slide to unlock and it’s unlocked before I can reach for the door knob.It was simple to install, just follow the instructions and make sure it’s set to short or long length.The only thing I wish it did is work with Siri.
