Sometimes the original door lock was either sluggish or didn't unlock at all with the fob. I changed the battery in the fob and it still didn't help so I got this. There is no instructions with it, but there are tons of YouTube videos to get the door panel off and then it's easy to do. Just unplug everything from the old one, and plug it all into the same spots on this one. It's identical to the OEM part. Door is easier to open, unlocks as it should now. I don't have to slam it as hard to get it to latch fully either. I am extremely happy with it!

Minus the color of some of plastic and a couple little tiny markings these things are virtually identical and when I say that I really need it. With every manufacturer you'll have differences coil sizes inside of the electric motor things like that someone's going to be different big drastic even sometimes. These things are so perfect of a match I had to throw my scale on a mailing scale to see they're like a half .025 of ounce in mailable weight. Yet they look good as a quality replacement. However, they feel exactly the same too.I will say this they have my attention as direct replacement parts maker now. I don't want to over barren the weight of the parts too much. But there have been times where a replacement weight was 2 lbs., and the original was 28 lbs. I do not think I am going to put too much faith into a part with that much difference to it.These here they came to show off really. I say that because it is a rare thing to find perfect exact match to the weight and feel for the originals. Thats not to say sometimes the aftermarket clone part is even better done than the original one from the auto makers suppliers.However, this part here is perfection. My educated guess is they did the plastics in different colors to prevent any claim s from the originals. Please note that is just a guess only. But it is pretty obvious where the bargain on this part falls.I most defiantly recommend to other.

Product fit right, works correctly. Only issue was the plastic that mounts to the pushrod coming from the outside handle was brittle and broke off in the cold where I was installing it. It was about 18 degrees Fahrenheit and the plastic didn't hold up in the cold. Luckily the plastic from the oem part was made out of bit tougher stuff so I managed to swap the original plastic tab onto the replacement part and it went fine from there. Good price, plastic not cold weather designed.

Our radio got stolen and they punched the lock out. I had to replace the lock, the door handle and the actuator. It’s really frustrating that there are so many plastic connectors, and when I tried to put all the pieces together the grommet that holds one of the locking arms was broken. This actuator was actually really inexpensive and fit perfectly.
