i welded this onto a wheelchair motor for a chain drive. Its holding up well and takes a weld with flux core easily as it is dense carbon steel.

This gear is not 5/8 bore. It's 85/128th which is significantly more than 5/8. It won't work on a 5/8 shaft period.
