Easy to swap out. Just make sure you take the old one and new one to match up the track. So it doesn’t throw the wipers off.

Very poorly built and the wipers only move about 45 degrees. It also appears the motor was installed incorrectly on to the linkage. I blame myself because I was in a rush and needed the part and did not read the reviews. Now that I have read the reviews almost everyone states they had the same issue I am having. This item is garbage and don’t waste your time.

Guess I should have read the reviews better. Yes it works. BUT the wipers stop position is at a 45 degree angle on the windshield. Not hard to replace the old one and put this one on. You will have to start the wipers at a 45 degree angle and they will go down then up from off position. Manufacturer if you ever figure out how to make them right let me know as I will have to replace these. For the price it should work properly. Lower the price or offer some sort of money back for lack of proper position would prob make people happier.

I ordered these to replace mine, which was seized. My mechanic friend installed it for me. The unit was built incorrectly and the motor is upside down. My wipers now sit up rather than down when off. Wouldn't be a Wrangler without a quirk I suppose and it's definitely not worth removing, returning, and doing all over again but for my money I wish it'd been made correctly.

After installing and finishing up getting ready to bolt the wipers back in place, I noticed that the wiper impeller won't grab the blade. Instead, it just spins in place when wipers are on. In my pictures I compare the old impeller with new one. Old one has teeth to grab the wipers and actually move them. I'm hoping its just a defect and not the way this was supposed to be made.Also, the electrical fastener will not lock back into place making this an iffy connection at best. Had to secure it with electrical tape just to be sure it will stay working during driving.I will be getting this piece replaced and will update again on the new one.Otherwise, the install was a cakewalk and the motor is nice and strong. Hence the 2nd star instead of just 1 star.

It's impossible to find wiper bushings for a Wrangler JK so if one goes out you're pretty much going to have to buy this.

The brackets all line up and the motor works pretty well. What you might want to know when you purchase:1. The windshield wiper arms don't come all the way down to a rest position when you turn off the windshield wipers.2. The red locking tab for the electrical plug does not lock back in. The socket seats, but the locking tab isn't exactly the correct anatomy. With that, it's a good strong motor, and it fits everything else perfectly. If you youtube the process for replacing the windshield wiper motor for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited you will find the steps are fairly easy. Heads up, there are four plastic push tabs. They might break or easily damage. Advise purchasing some so you have what you need when you put it back together. The plastic tabs aren't 100% needed to hold the assembly together, buuuut aesthetically pleasing to have instead of 4 random holes.
