The product did not last long at all. I will need to re-order or order something different, as this was $15 and didn't last more than 3 blasts. Disappointing and/or defective!

Loud enough! Used it on a family of bears the night received. It did the trick temporarily. The mechanism is a little cheap and may be difficult for some to understand proper use.

I use Airhorns to scare off bear or Coyottes. I switched to this brand just to try because it said " Bear Horn" , I have to say its very poor compared to an Air Horn and only a very short weak sound before it fizzles out. You have to shake and wait to build up pressure- I definitely would not recommend nor purchase again.

Good to have camping around bears. We never had to use them. So now we have them in our earthquake bags.

I like the small size and it's easy to carry in a bag. I tested the horn and it's loud enough to scare any animal away.
