These work very well. I like that they fold up. We got two springs and summers out of one before the pin where it pivots broke. The other one is still holding up after three years.

I like how easy it attaches to the drain pipe and folds up and down with ease. Very nice and it has a good length to it so you get the water away from your house.

It's a nice design but the plastic is very brittle and I doubt it will last. Also it was poorly packaged by Amazon and one was broken upon receipt. I put a couple screws in it and installed it anyway, I doubt if it will last more than a couple months. You may be wise to purchase it locally if you can to avoid this problem.

I was having trouble getting the water away from the house that was coming through the downspout during heavy rains here in Florida as it would pool up in low spots that were close to the regular metal elbow. This product is made well, looks great and fits perfectly at the end of the downspout. With this extension I can adjust it from 3' to 6' out so that it moves the water well away from my foundation.

I haven't used it yet. It appears to be able to work for my needed, but I may need to only use half of it for my needs. Seems very strong and sturdy.

extremly dificult to pry apart, not very sturdy cannot stand our winter cracks easily, would not recommend buying , only good for spring &summer otherwise i would not buy this again not worth the money

It's well made for the purpose, just skeptical about the longevity of the product, I don't know how long the extendable portion will last. When I time comes, I will replace that bit with a metal spout. For the price, yeah, I would buy it again.

I had an older version of this product that I had no problem with over several years of use. This new one apparently is made of a much softer plastic. Within a day or two of installation, it had deformed so badly that I had to get a refund for it. Notice the curve in the middle in the picture and the almost flat end.The refund process was easy and worked well. I then found some of the older version in stock at a local hardware store and purchased one. I installed it and it has been working fine and has not deformed at all.You can tell the older (better) version because the trough color doesn't match the color of the other part. The older one has a grey tint to the plastic instead of the very brown color of the new (bad) version. In other words, the two parts (water trough and elbow) are exactly the same color in the new (bad) version.

This downspout extension is exactly what I need to carry rainwater further away from my house. It was easy to install, looks great, and really does the trick! The fact that it screws on to the existing downspout makes it durable. The swivel feature makes it adapt to various situations. It’s reasonable price makes it an even better buy.

I bought the downspout extender on sale at a reduced price. At the price I paid, I guess it was a fair deal. However, the sturdiness and durability is of some concern. The plastic is not very thick, which gives me concern about it's durability over time. After a couple of years in the sun, I speculate that this thing may become brittle. Maybe they're all like this. I dunno. But, it shipped quickly, fit into place on my downspout and looks like it will perform it's job as advertised. I would probably buy another one at the same sale price. A recommend buy.

I usually don't write reviews but I have been searching for a product like this . It takes the water completly away from the house ...I wished the white was available when I ordered but brown is fine as long as water is away from the house
