Needed to replace remote on recliner....Out of Warranty by about a month....Retailer REFUSED to assist us (Bob's Furniture)...Research found it on Amazon...easy to install..works great

I picked up a pristine power chair at a thrift store and it worked for several months until the footrest wouldn't go down...It was stuck.I took a pic of the remote and matched it on Amazon.The part arrived quickly and was easy to install. No instructions were in the package, but I disconnected one old wire at a time, and replaced it with its' new counterpart.Tip:Turn the recliner upside down so you can easily work on it, and use good lighting. Just go slowly and you can replace it in a few minutes since each of the wires are labeled.

I have an old chair that I’ve had for over 20 years. It was given to me after a close friends aunt passed. I don’t know how long my friend Aunt on the chair. Certain functions of the remote stopped working years ago. The heat, the massage But the lift and the reclining was still functional until a few months ago. I was hoping that I would get all things working because my chair is old Some of the connections didn’t fit with this remote. The main Part which was the lift and the reclining does work. If the motor ever dies, I’ll replace it and this remote should have all the proper connections to the new motor. All in all I have to give it five stars Because the main purpose that I bought it for Works great.

All I needed was the hand held control unit as the original wire connection at the unit had come loose due to the wire protection sleeve breaking.I ordered a new one (can't get just the control, you have to but the whole assembly) and it worked perfectly... for 26 days.On the 26th day, none of the buttons but those for moving the chair worked and none of the intensity lights for any function worked. Further, the back heat was stuck on as "Off" did not work (a potential fire hazard).Fortunately I still had the original hand control, so with a little jury rigging I managed to secure the wires and successfully put it back into service.I had just 4 days left on the new component's return/exchange eligibility. I was lucky it failed before the expiration of the 30 days or I'd have had to throw away $75.I hope the replacement lasts a lot longer, but I am thinking that if the first failed after just a month, I'm not putting a lot of faith in the replacement.NOTE: The rating I gave for "ease of installation" is only for connecting the new hand control to the existing unit. Replacing the rest of the unit would have been considerably more work.
