It is so hard to find tube socks now-a-days. First of all, most socks are "one size fits all," and we all know there is no such thing. The ankle part twists around our feet, and the sock is too short and the big toe hurts and bursts through. An old fashioned tube sock adapts to your foot. They are great for the colder weather.

It's too bad that Fruit Of The Loom has falling so far down. This had been a quality manufacturer but now they are not worth buying anymore.

They have cheapened the top part of the socks and will not keep the elasticity long

Over the past year, I or my wife have been looking for over the calf socks at local stores. Unfortunately we were unable to find any and tried Hanes over the calf socks, but were disappointed in their length as they did not go completely over my calf (I wear size 10 shoes). Because of the length, they always fell down below my calf, causing me to pull them up more than I would like.Because of this issue, I went to the internet to buy over the calf socks and bought "Fruit Of The Loom" over the calf socks (size 10 to 13) and they fit perfectly. But if you have a larger size foot, I would choose the larger size socks offered on amazon as they may not completely go over your calf.
