I have been using this for my electronic drums and they are working perfectly. I didn't know if they would be able to withstand the beating that is going to be given to it ,but it doesn't show any signs of failure, and the sound quality they can produce is better than any piezoelectric triggering devices.it required some additional materials and electronic interface components, which is required to make it work, but it is not possible to get the same performance using the current design every manufacturer uses for most drum kits. It's not advertised for use as a drum sensor which makes this review a bit odd, but thats what I use them for, and I recommend them highly.
