These are lightweight, sturdy and appear well made and sturdy. I used these as hold-downs for a 12V fridge in a camper setup. I used 5/16 bolts with washers and lock-washers to keep the connection from loosening while installed in the living area of the camper.

Not too shabby. I think the product could be made out of better metal but it does the job.

These were so weak they broke before we ever got them put on the trailer.

Lots of complaints about how it wasn’t as heavy as the original one that came with the trailer. I would say that is true, however it does do the trick. As an avid, highly experienced horseman I would say if you have a horse that sits back and breaks the trailer tie repeatedly, maybe it’s not the tie. Something to consider…If you do have a horse that sits back, one way to alleviate that is to tie him/her with a rubber bungee. I’m sure if you YouTube that you will be able to get some direction on it.

Bought a psycho horse at the local auction. First and last time I will do that.He broke 4 ropes and one tie ring trying to load him in the trailer. Not going to miss that horse.BUT THE REPLACEMENT RINGS ARE AWESOME. THEY WILL BOLT RIGHT IN PLACE OF THE OLD ONES.AWESOME!
