I ordered this twice. The first one got hung up in shipping due to the wonderful services of the USPS. This was not Amazon's fault. Thank you for the quick refund and fixing the problem.The original petcock for my DR650SE did not have an off position. It only had ON, PRI, and RES. The original was not supposed to allow gas to flow unless the vacuum pulled from the carb. moved the diaphragm. Well if flowed anyway and flooded the engine horribly. I replaced it with a new one that identical and that one had the same issue. The quick fix was to put some clamps on the hose to stop the gas flow.I decided to get this one because of the OFF position. It works great. One thing to note is the outlet is smaller than the original part. I got a smaller hose to fit and used a heat gun to make the other end pliable enough to fit over the connection for the carburetor. Works great so far.

This does not fit like the original is slightly smaller where it bolts into the tank. So as tight as I can put it on it still wobbles back and forth. So don't go cheap and buy this. Now I'm out whatever I paid for this. Because I buy things ahead of time and by the time I use them the 30 return window is closed. Burned again thanks Amazon

Good value for the price. I would only recommend it for use with stock or near stock engines as the outlet is much smaller than what the bike came with, you'll have to replace your fuel line too. had to file handle to clear plastic on bottom of tank in the reserve position.
