When I was vacuuming up leaves with my garden tractor, the 24HP Kohler engine shut down several times and appeared to be suffering from fuel starvation, which suggested a bad fuel pump. I replaced it with this Malloryx fuel pump for Kohler engines and so far, so good. I had never noticed before, but this pump is the exact same one that is used on my ZTM with a B&S 22HP motor. Doing a little research, I think that this pump is fairly universal for most all V twin engines in the 20 to 27HP range, so if you have any equipment that has one of these engines, you might want to keep this pump on hand if you have a failure like I did.

I'm sure I had another aftermarket one of these on our Gravely mower with a Kohler ECV 33hp motor. This one went on well and replaced the one that I pulled off that I suspected was having issues. It works better than the one I replaced, so it did the trick. Just note, there are two fuel pumps on these motors, this is the low pressure one to move fuel from the tanks to the main fuel pump module, which then provides high pressure to the fuel injectors.
