My 30 year old original had developed a few cuts/cracks along the edges by someone doing a bad job of removing it I guess. I'd just replaced the fuel pump and neck, and decided I needed this new boot. I did have to take a drill to the very tiny hole for the water drain. I wound up stepping up in drill size, over and over, until a little grease and force could get that plastic nipple through the hole. Happy they still make this product at a reasonable price.
