Photo on the box shows the gasket on the outer edge. In fact it’s about 3/8” in from the edge.

A little smaller then the 1785 so they tend to not last quite as long otherwise they work just fine

These are affordable and do exactly what they are suppose to do, I change mine every six months, I fish 2-3 days a week, in area and out of state lakes , that means. I use a lot of gas. Before I had this, always get water in the fuel. Getting water out of the fuel tank is hard, the chemicals / solutions you have to buy to " add" to your fuel, in hopes, that it will dry up the water. Why ? This filter will take care of any water problem in the fuel tank !!! Now, no water in fuel, just straight gas going to to motor! Great product, been using these filters' for years, no problems. ever !
