I've worked IT at a school, so I've encountered a lot of different projector mounts. This is the best in every way.

It's low profile which I need, solid metal, very adjustable. Only problem is sometimes it's hard to get the pivots points tight enough to stay. Also I'm pretty sure i reviewed this already but amazon sent me a link to review it so.. yea. I'd buy one again but won't need to

It does have a lot of screws. Maybe more points of movement than I need. I do find myself needing to re tighten screws every once in awhile because the projector slowly moves

I have a large projector so needed this bigger mount. Works well. A little hard to get it to stay when adjusting down angle but I got it eventually

I needed a mount for my Epson 3800, which requires 13 inch span on mounting arms. I had to return 2 previous mounts because was stated they were applicable for my projector and then weren't. Finally found this. Took about an hour to install and I like that it only comes down 5 inches from the ceiling so projector is out of the way and less noticeable. A friend asked, do you really want to trust a 23 dollar mount to hold your 1300 dollar projector. I replied, It's sturdy and well made. Why should I discriminate against it because it's not expensive.

This is a well-made and reasonably well-designed ceiling mount. It's heavy-duty and easy to assemble. My only criticism relates to the design as applied to UST (ultra short throw) projectors. With a laser UST projector and a fixed screen size, there is no zoom capability so there is a need to be able to finely adjust the distance to the screen, not just the tilt axes (redesign could easily be done by adding a slot in the ceiling plate of the mount). I built a a wooden plate with slots for the ceiling mount screws (and replaced the lag bolts with machine screws and fender washers -- see photo (washers are not visible, as they sit between the screw heads and the top surface of the plate). With that plate screwed into the ceiling joists, I was able to adjust the distance to the screen and have a nice, rectangular image with no need for keystone adjustment.

This bracket is very flexible and works with just about any projector. The projector I'm using is quite small (short throw) so I had to remove the extension arms and scrunch everything down to fit the mounting holes in the projector, but it worked. It has multiple degrees of flexibility so aligning the projector is very easy. The price is pretty good too.

I bought a Wimius model K3 projector. The suggested mount for this item was listed on Amazon so I said to myself, great! I cannot get all four mounting screws to line up. The brackets are not long enough. I had to use the height adjustment screw (for a table mount) as one of the holes to hold the bracket. There are now only three brackets instead of four holding the unit to the mount. Also, the unit hangs upside down because the screw holes are on the bottom. It still works if you go through the menu and choose ceiling mount front as your designagted viewing option. It's a cheap item but the reviews were good and Amazon did suggest this purchase. I may send it back but that puts me back 2 weeks since it takes a while to come from China!!!
