This welding apron is fantastic. I probably am not as good at wearing all of the safety equipment that I should wear and it often feels like a chore having to change my clothes just to do a small welding task. This apron makes it easy to protect myself without changing my clothes or putting on heavier clothes designed for welding. It is so convenient to have this apron hanging near my welding table so I can just weld when I need to. I have the critical pieces with/near the apron, like a face shield and welding gloves, so the addition of the apron allows me to protect myself without changing clothes and skin from burns. It is very comfortable. Often I forget to take it off after I finish whatever I was working on. The pockets are great. This apron is worth the price for sure.

Nice thick heavy denim apron. It is a tie off, it would have been nice if it would have been a buckle, but works well with deflecting heat and sparks from welding and grinding. Good level of water resistance too. But to much water and it will get saturated. I am fan of leather aprons for welding, but the denim works alright. No real complaints, functions as should and wears just fine. The pockets are handy. The biggest advantage is that is it lighter than my old leather apron.

This denim welding apron is tough and durable – exactly what I need for my welding projects. The denim is thick and provides excellent protection from sparks and heat. The six pockets are super handy for keeping my tools within easy reach. The adjustable straps make it comfortable to wear, even for long periods. It's also great for other messy jobs around the house, like grilling or working in the garage. A must have for any welder who wants to protect their clothes.

This is a decent workshop apron. It’s not made of particularly heavy-duty material, so I don’t expect it to be durable. At the price, however, it’s a good deal…cheap to replace if it gets damaged or too dirty.

My husband is a welder and all-around handy guy. He tried on this excellent apron and was immediately impressed with the quantity of pockets and the fit. The apron fits him well with a long strap to wrap around his entire waist and easily tie. (He is a slim guy.) He really likes how many pockets it has and that it even has a little pocket that seems to be a handwarmer like on a sweatshirt in the front. That's a feature that really takes this apron over the top! He hasn't welded it to test flammability yet, but I'll update the review if there are any other additions once that part is tested. It has generous coverage and seems to be quality material and construction as well.UPDATE: after a minimal amount of use, one of the grommets has come off the apron itself. Also, it is too wide coverage at the top for a more slim frame torso. I am taking off several stars for these issues.

Edit : After my husband has used this welding apron from Fullshield for about a week, he has one point he would like to add to our review. The strap that comes out the rivet at about waist level, he found that tying a loose single knot about half way between the tightness when it is worn and where it was when shipped, makes it shorter to hang and somewhat easier to put on.Then after putting the apron on, he would use this same cord and tie or loop it in the front. The effectiveness of this method may depend on the height and weight of the wearer ( see photo ). It is also possible to pull the cords around behind you and tie them to get them out of the way. We added his photos wearing this tied in the front. He is 6’3” and weighs 215 lbs. He also commented that the fabric feels like a nice starched denim. Being a welding apron, it has fire retardant built into the fabric, so it feels like a new FR shirt.Original Review : This welding apron is well tailored and almost perfectly made. When I first saw it, I thought it was almost too perfect based on the purpose. There was one or two issues when this arrived and after looking it over, I realized that I would nave never looked this closely if it hadn't been so perfect. The corners are sharp. This does cause a bit of the light denim threads to show at the points. On the corners, I decided to use no fray ( a fabric treatment for edges - softer than super glue gel.) I did this to be certain when this is washed that it won’t fray - even a tiny bit. I did try to burn a few threads rather than trimming, but as advertised, it does not burn, even the threads. We hope our thoughts and photos help someone.

This apron is excellent for most major average body builds. The thing is it just feels good when you put it on. In addition to the best pocket area, you have the belt line, and what they did was ingeniously created two side by side, slide in pockets like you would have in a jacket, but superimposed a second top down all across the front with center stitching vertically to create dual matching pockets right on top of the side by side pockets. What they give you is two over the shoulder straps, one on each side that are connected down the back and secured by a waist strap that starts off like little extended pieces on each side, the pull out and around to the back so be tied together. As you pull them back the waist area snugs up comfortably to provide a unique fit for your body. The material is denim, a very slick, smooth yet not too thick material. It feels good on your hands when sliding them into the pockets.I'm still deciding on how I am going to use this. I have an elaborate woodworking shop, but I typically use a tool belt, and the tool belt would go right over the overlay dual pockets equaling four altogether in this apron. It really is designed for welding which typically does not require a tool belt. So, this one is an all in one welding outfit whereas the pockets are already built in. I can see using this for a myriad of purposes. Only time will tell how well I can incorporate them all. I have welding equipment including a small mig, a 50-amp stick welder, and oxy/acetylene torches on a roll around stand. I know this apron will come in handy for that.
