About this item

  • MITER GAUGE FOR TABLE SAW - If you own a table saw and you need to make a crosscut at any angle then you know how valuable a miter gauge can be. You may also know that the miter gauge that came with your saw is not terribly accurate or durable. Not to mention that the fit in the miter slot may not be all that great as well. The Fulton Miter Gauge is a high quality, well thought out and economical solution to your table saw cross cutting needs.
  • 13 POSITIVE STOP HOLES - The .200” thick, adjustable, solid aluminum head is machined with 13 positive stop holes. 1 hole is at 90 degrees while the 6 holes on both sides are at 22.5, 30, 45, 60, 67.5 and 90 degrees. The positive stops are perfect for many woodworking projects as they are popular angles that are most typically used by woodworkers. The Fulton miter gauge makes cutting angels much easier.
  • EASILY ADJUSTABLE - To adjust the head you simply loosen the post knob handle, pull the spring loaded indexing pin outward, rotate the head to the desired position, release the pin and lock into place by tightening the post knob handle. The aluminum head has two ¼” x ½” slots milled into it for mounting a miter fence if so desired. The slots are approximately 1-1/8” from the base of the miter gauge head.
  • SOLID STEEL MITER BAR - The head is mounted to a solid steel miter bar that measure 18” in length and is .354” thick by .730” wide. Standard miter slots are 3/4” x 3/8” with a 1/8” “T” slot (slight variances from brand to brand) running the length on the bottom of the slot. The steel miter bar is equipped with a metal, removable retaining disc that measures 7/8” in diameter and is just shy of 1/8” to fit into to the “T” slot to prevent accidental lifting when feeding your stock through.
  • REMOVABLE RETAINING DISC - The steel miter bar is equipped with a metal, removable retaining disc that measures 7/8” in diameter and is just shy of 1/8” to fit into to the “T” slot to prevent accidental lifting when feeding your stock through. If your saw does not have a “T” slot, you can remove the disc. The steel miter bar is also equipped with spring loaded, adjustable plungers. The plungers can be adjusted with the provide hex key wrench to provide you with the ideal fit.

I bought this for my Bosch router table. This is a quality miter and is built with precision, sturdiness, and is accurate. I’m very impressed with how well it works for me.

Solid built, seems to be good quality materials, nice mecanism to get the more common angles. Given 4 stars just because it annoyed me a lot that the print is not exact, even after resquaring it. After a little more use I might add some more info on it.

Much nicer than I expected. It is a vast improvement over the Kreg that I have. Spring loaded bearings to dial in the fit. A pad on bottom to glide on the saw surface. And the index pin doesn't come all the way out like the Kreg does. I've lost that pin a couple times...Great product!

It’s exactly as described and works. My only issue is that the handle can jiggle loose. Holding a set a non-common degree sometimes slips so keep an eye on it.I’ve replaced this with a used Incra 2000 for the same price. It’s old, no longer made, and much better.

I found this miter gauge to be true to the description. I needed one for a jig that I was building so i ordered one. It arrived wrapped in a sturdy plastic bag then into a sturdy box. The only assembly that was required was to screw in the handle. I then checked to see if the face was square to the table of my table saw; it was. I then checked to see if it was square to my saw blade. It was slightly off by about a degree, but was really easy to adjust. This was accomplished by loosening two screws at the rear. The gauge was slightly loose in the track, however, the three adjustment screws on the bar tightened it up perfectly. I cannot testify as to its accuracy when it comes to angles because I just needed it to be square to the saw blade. The jig that I was building required two miter gauges and because I liked this gauge so much I ordered a second one. This miter gauge was well made and it’s finish was very good.

I needed a simple, accurate and sturdy miter gauge for my old Jet contractor saw. The original one was dropped and the casting broke. In my shop, I have a nice Bosch miter saw so any angle cuts I need to do I use that tool. I only use the miter gauge on my table saw for making finger joints. This one from Fulton Precision does a fine job. It was easy to calibrate and it fits my saw's miter slot perfectly. I especially like the spring-loaded adjustment screws. I'm very pleased with this purchase and if you're looking for a miter gauge for this purpose (or any other) then I recommend this very highly. For the money, it's a great bargain.

If you're a professional and can afford thousands of dollars of tools for high production, you might not be impressed. For the rest of us mortals taking on occasional carpentry jobs for home projects, this is perfect. Solid weight on the metal parts, precision fabrication of the flat surfaces, the square corners, the pivots, the fast alignment holes, and all the threaded parts. Truly close to perfect. Paint and finish, perfect. Readability and precision of the protractor graduations, perfect. Plastic handle and ergonomics, perfect. Fit for an older American name brand table saw, perfect. The end of the slider bar has a removable washer for T-slot type saw tables. Remove it if your saw is square milled bottom slot. The slider bar also has two socket head screws to adjust for lateral play. Perfect. What's not to like. Take care of it and it should last a long time. Machining, fit, and finish are very high. As far as alignment and squareness, those are fine on this item and your saw fence (and maybe other parts) have all the precise adjustments you will need to make things square for your projects. Look online for instruction.

I have used a bunch of different miter gauges over the years and worn out table saw's. In doing so. I always thought of my idea of a perfect, well thought out gauge that was accurate and simple. This gauge hits evey mark. Easy to read scale. Positive stops for common use cuts are dead on accurate. The roller bearings to adjust for track deviation are an excellent idea I had never thought of. That adjustable bearing feature is really helpful, especially in "on site" construction table saws that are not always as perfect, as the miter gauge slides on a stationary belt drive saw such as a Delta Uni Saw. The gauge is 3/4" wide. So if you have a construction site table saw, and are looking for a real miter gauge. Measure slide track on saw before ordering. I have a Delta, and a Ryobi table saw as back up. The gauge does not work in Ryobi even with T track roller. But if slide in your saw is 3/4" wide, your golden with this gauge. . The only improvement I would make to gauge would be a small, but T type adjustment knob, on positive stop actuator. However actuator works and it is as perfect a gauge as I have seen or used. No frills yet all frills for function in design.
