Super nice flat-bottomed flask made of high-quality borosilicate glass. I tested it and it holds 250 ml with no problem. I am a retired scientist and teach my elementary school-aged grandchildren about science. I have a nice little basement lab set up and we have a great time doing chemistry and biology experiments. This is a well-made flask and rivals the ones I used during my career. Just having it in my home lab puts a smile on my face. I will order from FunChem again.

As I build my chemistry set, I always look for quality components to conduct simple chemical experiments for my grandkids and hope they show some interest in the sciences. This flask is brosilicate glass and should be safe for boiling using a lab burner. Beyond having fun with the grandkids, I'll use this flask to analyze gasoline for water contamination and measure out fuel for our patio lamps. Very pleased and would highly recommend to the aspiring chemist.
