I have worn stud nose rings for years and wanted to try the hoop since the studs come out so easy. This is a 6mm and sometimes forget I have it in.

I bought this for a rook piercing. It was very pretty and easy to put in! However, I have a sensitivity to metals, and my ear reacted like crazy to this earring, which is odd because surgical steel and sterling silver generally work fine for me. Just as a heads up to metal sensitive people!

I was really excited about this piece of jewelry. I got it to go in my tragus piercing. It went in fairly easily and fit well. However after sleeping on it for a night, my ear was irritated and starting to scab around the piercing. After taking the ring out, I realized that the etched details on it were very sharp and since it was able to move around in my sleep I had basically just had a metal file rubbing my ear for 8 hours straight. It may do better in a nose piercing where it isn't moving as much during the night but I wouldn't recommend the etched options.

Great earring! Opened easily and seemed not to be brittle at all (as are some cheaper earrings). I got the 10mm for my conch piercing, and it’s a little small, but I think the 12 would have been too big.
