I am on a health journey, and I needed something that will get the circulation going in my legs. I sit most of the day, and I decided to give this a try.The elliptical machine arrived mostly assembled. When I turned it on, the display lit up, but I couldn't get the remote to work. After deciding to read the directions after nearly an hour of fooling with the remote without success, I read the pamphlet and found out how to reset the remote. Problem solved. The elliptical responded to the remote. Once that was accomplished, I put my feet under the straps to see how well it worked. The big moment.I was not disappointed. The machine is quiet. No whining, no swooshing, no mechanical clucking. I can set the run time in five minute increments. Since I started on the elliptical, I've been going at an 8 speed for 20 minutes for the past few days, and I didn't feel any pain in my knees or legs after I finished. I wasn't sweating afterwards, and I will admit, I didn't feel any difference in my legs, but the goal for me is to move more. This elliptical accomplishes that for 20 minutes.The size of the machine is good in my opinion. It's not too tall or too wide. But if you have a low desk, your knees may hit the bottom when cycling up. Make sure you measure under your desk before buying.I do recommend getting this machine. It doesn't make any noise. It has a smooth start, smooth run, and smooth stop. It goes in reverse, and it can go really, really slow, and it can go at a great pace as well, almost like a soft run.I like it so far, and I hope in the future, it'll help me in my health journey.

I realized after I wrote my headline, "Working for older parents," what a silly comment that is. I suppose everyone's parents are "older". But, when I say older, I'm talking about the 90's, not the 30's. Knowing that may help clarify my review. :*)Our parents are now at the age where they are starting to fall much too often. It seems every week I learn that one, or the other has taken a little spill. (They never tell us until later.) As a result, I thought it important to try to facilitate some physical therapy type movement that they can do.The FUNMILY Under Desk Elliptical, 2 in 1 Leg Exerciser is now at their house. I like it because both can use it while sitting, which is what they do quite a bit. Mom is still quite mobile, and though she has always been strong, her muscles in her legs are not as strong as they once were. (Well, no doubt.) I showed them how this works, and let them use it. Mom liked it, and step dad is also using it. (Or, so they say.) The resistance is adjustable. So, they don't have to be Arnold Schwarzenegger to use it. And, I think the lighter resistance will be beneficial for them both. They both commented that they like it.My thoughts are that even if they use it twice a week, that is twice more than they were doing. If they used it three times a week, I will be thrilled. They are pretty motivated to be as self sufficient as possible. And, I understand that. So, I have hope that they will continue to use this machine. I'm glad to have given them this option. Everything we can do to keep them as strong as possible will help. Recommended.

This review is for the FUNMILY Under Desk Elliptical, Sitting or Standing B0DG2QXLVHThis is a great way to exercise while sitting. No need for a power cord running across the living room floor. The resistance settings offer a good amount of resistance to et a good workout. My wife tried the standing position several times. The movement wasn't smooth enough to maintain balance. She was a little disappointed that she could use it while standing. Maybe after a bit of use, it will move more smoothly and she can try again. It came fully assembled and the pedals are a nice size. We're not sure how accurate the calorie counter is so take that reading with a grain of salt.

Customer service won't get back to you with any questions. I had a question that nobody could answer, so I emailed the manufacturer. I asked them what is the unit of measurement used for the distance meter readout. They did not respond to me, so I emailed them a 2nd time, only to find out they blocked my emails from getting through. Buy something else.
