I generally have foind FUNN products very good. However, this seatpost clamp is very lightweight to almost being flimsy. Also threads are shallow for being into aluminum.I wouldn’t trust this for mountain biking, especially with a dropper post fully extended. It looks too likely to break. It might be fine for a road bike, though again I think the treaded portion isn’t long enough.

I have been impressed by FUNN products , but this one unfortunately does not work.Firstly..the blue ended up being a very light baby blue in person while on the photo it looks like a deeper blueThe major problem was that, it would not stay installed over my seat tube.As soon as i would tighten it , to the point that it started to clamp around my seat tube, so that it actually clamped my seat post into the seat tube.The entire seat post clamp would pop up and off the frame/seat tubeI tried a few times, then gave up..and installed the original seat post clamp back on witch grabbed and held right awayThis part is too light and small for its own good I think , as it won’t (CLAMP) around a seat tube and stay

Received item with a deep scratch on the finish. Poor QC. Too bad as it looks like a quality product otherwise. Now have to return it.--------Updated- 6/18/20Decided to try the clamp anyway and it is working great. Holding my dropper post very well. Deducted 1 star because it came with a scratch on it.
