It holds items, but build quality is garbage. Assembles with weird gaps on the side. Removing stickers takes off the finish. If you just need space to put stuff, this holds some mass. But if you want it to look like it wasn’t pulled straight from a dumpster, get something else.

It was a fun and easy project to put together with my daughter. She loves it. It's perfect for her books and gaming systems. I might even buy another one to put on the other side of the TV so that it frames it in a way.

I needed a more narrow shelf for my daughter's room. This is perfect! I love the color and the open ladder design. It's a great fit without looking bulky. It was so easy to put together, functional and it's nice and sturdy it's a great option for storage! Great value for the cost.

I finished the shelf this afternoon, and it took me about an hour to do it. Maybe a few minutes more. I am feeling accomplished and clever.I am that person who doesn’t handle “assembly required” purchases very well on Amazon. Sometimes? I will actually get it done, flawed - with a ton of messy glue everywhere - it takes me hours and hours because of having to start over again from the beginning so many times Honestly? Most times? I give up and ask my boyfriend to put it together for meExcept for this shelf!!I put it together in a little over one hour. It says it should take you 30 minutes. Do not care! I got it done!! Perfectly! I found the directions easy to follow and everything lined up - it was a breeze! I feel like a million dollars. It was so satisfying.Oh yeah and it’s really cute; I am a rockhound and I tumble my rocks till they are shiny and beautiful, so now I have a dedicated space to display them on. It’s well designed and holds quite lot of rocks and fossils in a very small amount of actual used space. My home is small and there is not a whole lot of spare real estate left for more furniture. And yet it appears sizable. It is just what I wanted!I love this shelf!!

You get what you pay for. This bookcase is not the best quality, but it holds a decent amount of books. Easy for one person to put together. Annoyingly, the manufacturing stickers (that differentiate the different shelves) ripped the paint right off of the wood, so be careful when removing them.
