I just bought and opened the kit. Before the very first step, the instructions read in bold: "Before attempting any repair, we recommend that you thoroughly clean the steering wheel with our Leather Ultra Clean and leave to dry." The package contains two cleaners, one is labeled "Leather Liquid Degreaser" and the other is marked "Leather Alcohol Cleaner," but no "Leather Ultra Clean." Is Leather Ultra Clean a separate product? If so, why isn't it in the box? Do I need to buy another "kit" before I can employ this kit? If not, did FurnitureClinic change a product name but not update the instructions? Please help.

Follow the directions well and you won’t be disappointed. My wheel was very worn at the top and this kit did an excellent job fixing those areas. I’m very pleased with the finish.The kit comes with everything you need and there is plenty to do more than one wheel.

Ein hervorragendes Produkt. Die Anleitung führt Schritt für Schritt durch den Prozess und es ist alles dabei, was man benötigt. Von der Menge (abgesehen vom Sandpapier) sollte das Produkt für 2-3 Lenkräder genügen. Wenn man sich genau an die Anleitung hält, ist das Ergebnis ausgezeichnet. Mein Lenkrad war 10 Jahre über 180.000km in Verwendung und demzufolge nicht mehr appetitlich. Nach der Anwendung des Produkts wieder so gut wie neu - siehe Bilder. Drei Tipps: 1.) Unbedingt den nicht-belederten Teil des Lenkrads abkleben 2.) Unter das Lenkrad etwas unterlegen, falls Farbe tropft 3.) je nach Abnutzungsgrad ggf. mehr Sandpapier (320er) bereithalten. Insgesamt ein tolles Produkt, das jeden Euro wert ist!

Product kwam toe met de flessen halfvol of zelfs bijna leeg. De moussen waren ook overduidelijk gebruikt… dit product is dus 2x verkocht!

Although the product comes with written instructions, I recommend watching related YouTube tutorials for a clearer understanding of how to apply it. Visual demonstrations can provide additional insights and help ensure proper usage.

So, this kit has everything you need to recolor ur wheel. It's decent enough although, the "colourant"? All it is is shoe polish. They may say it's not, but it is... and it works pretty ok! It does dry down to a matte finish which i kinda like? That way if u wish to add shiny stuff down the road you can

Just did this on my 2013 Mazda CX5 with 160,000 miles on it. The steering wheel looks brand new now!! Follow the directions. Be sure dry with a hair dryer to speed the process. Be sure to tape off non leather bits. Wear gloves when applying the dye. Also!!! Be sure to dab on the color, as instructions state. Wiping on just smears stuff. Now waiting for the dry and to see how long it holds up in the Texas heat.
