I have sliders but I wanted this as a way to move pieces around over a period of time. Worked well.

I needed a way to move my telescope tripod around which is very heavy. The rollers worked nicely.

If you try to use these on carpet they hang up and slide out from the item you are trying to move. The wheels are not big enough to work on carpet.

I recently used these during my move into my new downtown apartment in a historic building. Perhaps my experience was unique, but I found that using these dollies was often more of a hassle than they were worth.To provide some context, I was using these in a downtown environment, so they were used over uneven roads, bumpy sidewalks, parking garages, hardwood, carpets, and more. I used these primarily to help move my couch pieces, which were light but large square couch frames. Since we were in downtown, we had to park outside the building, which required us to load these onto the dolly and roll them across the road onto the bumpy sidewalk or unground garage and into the building. More times than not, whatever was put on the dollies would eventually fall off the dollies. Other items that I used with that also experienced this were a TV console, an entryway table, and of course the couch pieces as mentioned.Here are my primary issues with these dollies:1. Cheapcasters: Thecasters just couldn't handle even the slightest bump. I tried using these multiple different ways, such as 1 on each corner, 1 in the front and 1 in the back, 1 on each side, and even only 1 caster and balancing the couch pieces on top of it. All of these methods failed in some sort of way, regardless of if the item was heavy or light.2. Build Quality: The bag that is meant to hold them already has a rip in it, which has rendered the bag completely useless. The platforms also have these raised lips that I assume are meant to be used to place the legs of your furniture against to prevent them from falling off the dollies, which didn't work for me a single time. The platforms are also pretty thin. Although I didn't test this, I have a difficult time believing that these can hold up as much weight as they claim.Overall, I would say that these aren't worth the money if you're wanting them for a move. I would recommend these for in-home use for reasons such as rearrange furniture, moving in new appliances, temporarily holding furniture to replace/clean carpets, etc.The only reason I am not giving this 1 star is due to the slight chance my issues were user-caused problems or due to a manufacturing defect.

The metal plates are on the thin side, but for the price it’s a great deal. Worked perfectly, and made a difficult job very very easy.
