This hat is spot on for any Renaissance enactment, having formerly studied the costumery of the era in a series of Art History classes back in university days.I hope to use this with a matching costume for an upcoming Renaissance Fair, either as a participant or as a visitor, so time later this year. It's one size fits all for the most part and fits me well for a larger hat size.J. Yakima

I must say without hesitation....this hat is not for everyone.....I have been told it looks great on me....as I have been told of all my hats ----....a professional once told me it has to do with the outline and shape of the face and head and most importantly....a long neck....and then everything looks good on top of the dome!

This is not really that much of a renaissance themed hat, it is a floppy bucket hat that I wish the brim was just a little bit more stiff. It is well made, and it is quite comfy to wear, I think I can just wear it as a hat rather than a costume piece though!

Ordered this flat cap for our young adult daughter who is an art student in college. This flat cap is right up hee alley!Even though it's Faux Suede, it really feels like Suede. The inside lining of the hat is also soft.While it does not fully look like Suede, it is close enough that it works for this hat.The awesome thing about it is that it's big enough to even fit my head which is a little larger than average. It's also very lightweight and comfortable to wear. Hoe you wear it is fully up to you, there litteraly are dozens of ways this hat can be worn.It's an awesome hat and I highly recommend it!
