This product was a perfect fit for my 2011 Buick LeCrosse, and I need it because I replaced my battery. Now my car works as if it was new again.

So I didn't notice the black plastic housing was broken in several places before I started installation. Because of timing, I had no choice but to proceed and install as-is (broken). Not sure how or why it was damaged as the boxes and packaging seemed adequate enough. Most likely guess is it was boxed at factory in damaged condition. Other than this, it appears to be similar to OEM unit and seems to work OK.
