Worked out nicely, while rewiring a '98 Bass Tracker boat. Installation was easy, as I am an electrician, by trade, but should be no difficult task to one who tinkers with automotive, or electrical mods. Replacement fuses are available, but rare at automotive repair part stores. If one plans to use this kit, one should keep a small stock of replacement/spare fuses on hand. Happy Modding!

We have a camper and I wanted to take some of the 12 VDC load away from the power distribution in the electrical panel. I am only concerned with the high current items such as slide motors, leveling jack, tongue jack...etc. Mainly because this makes it easy to disable those devices making it more difficult for a would-be thief to take the camper. But I can still leave things inside (lights, DC fans, refrigerator, furnace...etc.) operational if I need them.In short, if a would-be thief has to take the time to manually raise the leveling/stabilizing jacks, the tongue jack, and run the slides in, said thief would probably rather find something that did not take as much time to steal. Adding a locking disconnect from the battery to this distribution block made that part pretty easy. All I had to do was re-route wiring from those motors to this block. I also took that opportunity to increase the size of wire to those motors by the next larger. They operate better than they ever have now. That part was the most difficult, but well worth the work.It is a nice device and seems well made. If you will mount this outside, I do recommend mounting it in a weather proof box to help prevent corrosion.

Make life so much easier when dealing with audio installs or for battery storage installations. Used this on my golf cart to replace some old terminal lugs that had corrosion. Fits great and looks like it would last a decade.

I have reviewed a couple of these power distribution blocks and this is by far one of the better ones. For starters, I like that the power can pass through this, that you can daisy chain the power and ground. Secondly, this power distribution block has four output terminals instead of only three. Thirdly, I like the thoughtful use of the LED to indicate which fuse is blown. It also comes with extra fuses to suit your needs. Inside each set screw terminal, there is an insert that can be removed to make the full size bigger. This is really helpful to be able to adapt to different size power wire.

This BRIGHTFUN Fused Power Distribution Block Car Audio 4 Way MIDI (Mini-ANL) Fuse Block 12V 0/ is nice. This is a nice looking block. The fuses look great. I like that fact that is has a cover over the whole unit. It allows for 4 g wire in and pass through. also has a Ground block too. This is a great all in one block. Most you have to buy 2 blocks to do the job of this one block. I like it.

I got this distro block for installing an onboard air and car amplifier setup in a truck. I like that it covers both the positive and grounds, and the cover doesn't take up a huge amount of space. The way the fuses are bolted in are also very nice. I usually woundn't bother but I'm gonna put some very light loctite on the fuse bolts, since this vehicle is going to see a lot of vibration from driving offroad and from the subwoofer. The mini ANL fuses come in a variety of sizes, you can get a grab bag separately that will suit any need. The surfaces are nice and polished, probably a nickle plating. I would buy this again for future projects.
