After frying my Speedybee VTX I figured I'd try this one. It has been working perfect for me so far. It connects to Betaflight with no problem and the OSD appears as it should.

transmitter gets very hot, does not work above 25mw, and just about fried my fpv plane's receiver. Would return it, but had to cut connectors for it to work with my camera to even test it. Gave two stars because it does technically work, but there are better options out thereOne week later, updating review: turns out it wants much more than 5v so that is my bad. Put it straight into the 11v 3c battery, instead of the receiver. It does transmit at the full 600mw now, but even with higher voltage it gets pretty hot, and with no sort of heatsink, makes me think it isn't long for this earth.

Love this product use it in a bunch of my drones but the large connector is a little annoying I’d rather solder pads and wire but still great transmitter

I always bent test and break in my VTX's slowly . Run at low power setting for 20 min, let cool completely down. Do same on other power levels while monitoring loads. I have had good Luck over all of with all with AKK, I have bought dozens. If your running over 600mW you need cooling fan, I have run AKK 1200's all summer long with micro cooling fan. Not a bench mark vtx but you dont get beat up on there cost like other overpriced Vtx and they get the job done. But this time after a 25mW break in I moved to the 200 setting, I seen load meter start to climb after a minute run time then a small poof of smoke and it was over ! ( My wishes are I get warranty replacement . So I give 4 stars. Best wishes and stay safe. Keep your chins up and attack life !

This vtx its great I used for my 5 inch drone its not to big its the right sizes and works great. This is one of my favorite brands.

Great little VTX if you need a 20x20 stack build but I will warn that it did bleed onto a few channels and pumps well over the advertised power output. If your FPV racing it may not be the best because of that but if you fly freestyle by yourself then it's perfect. Excellent range and clear video. I love the plug connections and the MMCX connection.

I have a couple of these. I have heard these may bleed over-frequencies and power output tends to be higher or lower than stated. These are only a problem if you race or fly with large groups.My experience is these are great!!! I get crystal clear video OSD control for frequency and channels and the MMCX connector is great. Coupe this with an AXII 2 antenna And a 90 degree MMCX to SMA cable and you get a compact durable high performance stack. I am buying my third, And yes i am buying another not replacing a broken one LOL!

This little VTX is absolutely amazing! It was extremely easy to install and the Smart Audio works perfectly! It has pit mode, so you can power up your quad without blasting everyone else out of the sky. The range was incredible, providing crystal clear video, both indoors and outdoors,even around trees and small buildings. I can't believe this was only $18.99. Everyone with a 20mm board needs to get this VTX. Highly recommended!!! I can't wait to try the full size version on my 5" build.
