This thing is amazing. I had not been expecting it to be as cool as it is, given that what we got is more or less exactly what's in the picture, complete with badly photoshopped dog, which makes it look... OK at best. But in real life, the whole experience has been a joy from the moment we unboxed it.First, it's very spacious. I was worried it would be too small (I got the small one) because it has a chihuahua in the official pic. But it has tons of floor space, and ample headroom for our extra-tall shih tzu. It could easily accommodate a larger dog like a boston terrier, cavapoo, or even any two dogs about that size. As shown in one photo, my 5' 2" wife can fit in it, which both I and our dog found pretty interesting. There's something magical about the size -- a lot of hex playpens are pretty tall and have the wrong dimensions for a small dog. This one has a small profile and still has a ton of room to run around or store extra toys.Second, the quality. It is surprisingly robust. If it were larger, you could sell it as a people-tent at a big sporting goods store. One of the things I like best about it is how _taut_ it is. When you pull it out of the carry bag and give it a little tug, it just springs open, fully expanded, ready to zip the top and bottom closed. It's a strong, sturdy structure like a high-quality camping tent. All the materials are rugged, lightweight (for carrying), sturdy, and resistant to both dog and nature. You could take it camping in warm dry weather. There is nothing cheap-feeling about this tent.Next, it has a brilliant design with the hexagon shape. As you can see from my photos, it gives the interior a palatial feel. It also gives both dog and owner great visibility. And it helps make the base and walls incredibly stable without those hard bars you find in square pens like this. The tent poles in it are very lightweight, and the whole thing is super light. It feels like just a couple pounds when it's in the carry bag.Finally, the impressive attention to detail: * Comes with a small, padded, tote-style carry case that is honestly so small it's hard to believe * Tent has both top and side openings that can be opened and closed independently * The side opening flap rolls up neatly at the top with velcro * There is a utility hole on the base, pictured, just big enough for a finger, which the dog can smell through, and you could use it to push snacks through or reassure it by petting its nose a little. Also protects the pen against flooding. * There is a side pocket for supplies * Setup and teardown are both ultra-fast, which is appealing to lazy people like meAnd finally, I actually like the colors better than a lot of the other kennel designs. This one matches a lot of different decor, or at least doesn't clash with it.Overall, our dog loves it, we love it, everyone's happy. This kennel-tent will be a regular guest at every family party from now on.

I am committed to being a dog owner for the duration of my life. When I travel locally, where to put my dog for containment becomes an issue. In particular, I would not want to rent an AirBnB only to have my dog leave a brown gift in the gorgeous house of the host. This playpen allows a portable space for me to put my dog, along with her toys when I am on the move.The pop-up, no assembly required design is particularly appreciated, as the last thing I want to do after traveling a long distance is to start putting a cage or kennel together. The fabric feels sturdy, and I have no concerns that my dog could chew through it. The zippers can be the weak point on many products, but these also seem quite hardy and well made. Because it has a bottom, the dog cannot simply knock it over, either. The side pocket on the product for knick-knacks is equally greatly appreciated, as is the big pouch for storing the playpen while on the move. It is cozy enough to make a puppy/dog feel safe, while at the same time allowing enough transparency for the owner to see what is going on inside. I do wish it had a flap inside to regulate the amount of size permitted to the puppy, for potty training purposes. In all, an ingenious product.

This playpen is functional and is my go to for travel (ground and air) and when my fur baby has to stay with a sitter. I love the well made storage bag that comes with it too. The zippers are quality and the unit is easy to assemble and take down, unlike some of the others I tried. Great product for the money!

At first our little Maltese puppy wasn’t a fan. Now she actually goes in herself to play and nap. Love the easy zipper, fold up and the weight. I got the medium and it’s just perfect .
