It's ok.. The cord cover covers the actual cord fine. It's a bit hard to open, which I guess is good, it's baby proof.The one thing I noticed though is when the cable starts to show, meaning if the platic part starts to show the metal cable, because it's been twisted too much, it does not cover that part and a baby could easily put that still in it's mouth. So engineering wise, I think I'd be looking for another cover to cover a bit more of the actual cord as well.

Problem is while little ones can't open them, neither can we. In an attempt to not wreck them, we used a plastic knife to pop the ends open. USB cords fit perfectly, helping protect the cord and end. Very useful for keeping little ones and pets out of trouble with your charging cables. Unsure if they will get easier to open over time? The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars as it's annoying to have to find a "tool" before you can gain assess to charge something....LOL.

easy way to keep our cord away from baby's mouth, not only does it keep my baby from getting the cords in her mouth it also keeps things safe the just sit on the counter or couch which gives me peace of mind too. they are easy to use and im glad i came across this, i will be ordering more.

These are great and a good price at $12.99 for 8 considering the leading brand runs $12.95 for a 3 pack! I will note they are a bit on the hard side to open but I feel like that's for obvious reasons to make them child proof. I don't need a "tool" to help open like some reviews state but it's worth a note.I think they only down side for us is remembering to lock it back - as It slides down the cord while not in use so you have to fish it back up. It's one of those good intention products that end up never being used.

These work for me. I wrapped a rubber band around the cord so the cover wouldn't slide down to far when I was using the charger cord. And I used a velcro cord wrap tied around on another cord, that worked, too.Now if I could just get better about putting them back after I use the charger cord...

This is such a ingenious idea. Chargers are everywhere in our house and this keeps baby safe from them. The only difficulty is remembering to use them.
