This is a good set of hex extensions for your drill or impact driver. They can be chucked into your drill or locked into your impact driver. The extensions themselves will lock your hex bit (or another extension) and won't release unless you pull back on the sleeve.While the ends are hex, the main part of the shaft is round and the end of the extension (the part that holds your bit) is a little smaller than the diameter of a dime. So, technically, any opening needs to be at least that large in order for the extension to fit through it.

If a product begged for a 3.5 star rating this extension set would be it. The good things are that they are made from strong materials as claimed, they look just like the photos, and they all have hex shafts. Also, all of them were straight, although the longest one had some wobble when I used it in both my drill and cordless screwdriver. The holder was perfect for the bits and the shaft fit was good for these two tools which takes me to the cons. They weren't magnetic whatsoever. The bits didn't all out when I turned them upside down and gave them a mile shake, but the entire shaft fell out when I did the same with them in my driver. Finally all the shafts worked well in general except for the longest one which lost it's grip in both my driver and cordless screwdriver when I tried to screw into a hard-wood. Since they all unscrewed each time my summary is that they aren't magnetic and can unscrew exceptionally well but are not as consistent on screwing in.
