Work quite well in the trunk of a small car.These are low profile, and just the right size to fit day to day stuff (backpacks, books, grocery bags). They are a little flimsy and don't collapse too easily. Overall they are good for what they are.

Do you know what a pain it is to dig through a chest freezer trying to find what you are looking for? These handy collapsable storage totes work perfectly in our chest freezer to sort different types of items. One I use for my homemade Kosher sausage, one for seafood, one for beef, one for poultry... Pizzas and other large items go into a side compartment.Suffice it to say, these totes fit perfectly into our 5.5 c.f. chest freezer, leaving enough room to reach down with our hands and pull the totes out. If I want fish, I can pull the sausage tote out of the way and then pull out the seafood tote rather than digging down piece by piece.I can also close the freezer lid while I go through the seafood tote to find the exact fish I want. Quickly pulling the totes out and closing the lid means less frost buildup.When not using the totes, they collapse to around 1" depth for convenient set aside until needed.I will be getting a few more sets of these.
