Kind of kept my 23ft boat anchored with minimal wind and current but it did what it’s supposed to do.

As a 25+ year boater this is by far the best anchor. A little heavy when pulling in to the boat but works perfectly

I have been trying to anchor outside the break wall in Marina del Rey. It can get pretty choppy and my fluke anchor just would not hold. I kept drifting into the break wall. The first time I used this anchor it caught the bottom right away--and it held in very choppy water. The anchor comes with 100 ft of line. I had to use some old line with the new line because the hundred feet is not long enough. The depth behind the brick wall can be 50 to 70 ft and the water is usually choppy. I read that 150 ft to 200 ft of line is sure to hold in those conditions at that depth. I let out plenty of line and the anchor worked great! However, You should know if you have not been working out (like me), be ready to get a workout dragging it back in. 😁 Use gloves!ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT I GAVE ONE STAR FOR LIGHTWEIGHT. IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE LIGHTWEIGHT! THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT IT. SO A ONE-STAR FOR LIGHTWEIGHT IS A GOOD REVIEW IN MY MIND.PS-like many new lines, the line that comes with the anchor is wound in a way that causes it to tangle right away. I recommend letting all the line out on the dock before you go out. I did not do that and I ended up throwing a big ball of line into the water the first time I used it. Fortunately I had a lot of backup line. 😁

This anchor keeps my 23” bow rider with Bimini up, which is essentially a sail, from drifting even on windy days. Only drawback is it’s a bit bulky and cumbersome to set up, however, worth the effort to be stationary.Hardware is quality marine parts

Short learning curve. Very easy to use and has great holding power. Ability to fold takes little space.

Love this anchor. Where we live, the lake is all rock, no sand, no mud / dirt, just rock and conventional anchors don’t hold well at all. This box anchor does the job perfectly and with 100’ of rope and it being pre-tied, it’s amazing!

This is by far the best anchor I have ever owned. It works perfect every time. It requires less rode to set it and once it hits bottom you are locked in place. Pull over the top of it and it pulls up easy. Then a quick pull of a pin and it fold right back up for easy storage. I am so happy for this purchase.
