My string on my racket popped and I replaced them with these. I've been using this string ever since. I can see the ball spin more when I use these strings. I use a lot of spin and I can see the ball spin and I know if I'm not putting enough spin on the ball. These have held up very well.

I used this string in my backup racket. I don't use the racket much, but I did give them a try after putting them in. I used a half set and they seemed to respond and work well! I need to use them a bit more to get a good feel for them and I will update this review when I am able to do that. But so far, so good. I am a 4.0 player.

So I bought this mid-2010s Head Speed MP racquet at a yard sale for $2, but the grip and strings were old and rotten, so I went on Amazon to select a new grip and strings for this stick.I'm a 3.5/4.0 level player, and prefer spin/control over power when I select my strings. I ordered this set of Gamma Sapphire strings, and handed them over to my friend Darin (who usually strings my tennis racquets, and has strung a thousand racquets by now). I mentioned to Darin to give me his opinion of how the strings felt.During the stringing process, Darin said that he was impressed with the quality of the strings, that they were easy to weave, were not prone to kink, and low memory, similar to Luxilon Element in feel.I brought this racquet to Monday night tennis practice and played a couple of sets with these strings. I'm familiar with poly strings, and these played comfortably. I have lately been playing with Diadem Solstice (a poly that is super abrasive to help generate more spin). After playing with the Diadem Solstice for almost a full year, I was surprised with the amount of spin I was able to generate with these Gamma strings. The Teal color also is aesthetically pleasing, and I think it would match with a variety of frame colors and patterns.UPDATE: After 4 months of playing time (1 to 2 times per week at 3.5/4.0 level), I ended up cutting the strings off and having the racquet restrung. This matches my normal stringing frequency, so I'm pleased with the durability of these strings. Looking back on how they performed for the past 4 months, I'm really happy with the performance and will be purchasing again once I deplete my inventory of other strings.

I have used many dozens of different strings over the years. I've tried all the big name polyesters (Luxilon, Volkl, etc.), both as a hybrid with a softer strong (like a good multi or when my budget allows, natural gut) and as a full bed. These new Gamma strings are nothing special, but they get the job done if you are looking for the firmness of a poly. I generally prefer a textured poly and these are pretty smooth, but I still got decent spin with this. I probably wouldn't buy these again given the abundance of similarly priced polyester strings, but I can play perfectly good tennis with this either as a full bed or in a hybrid. Bonus points that they claim to be more biodegradable than typical polyester strings!

The strings provide excellent spin and precision, making a noticeable difference in my control on the court. I’ve tried both the 16 and 17 gauge options, and they both offer a nice balance of durability and playability.

This is a match made in heaven with that baby blue and the baby blue in my racquet ala Coco Gauff. Loving it the pairing. This is a eco poly and it feels durable like regular polys. The spin is insane compared to my old multifilament strings. I'm hoping it won't aggravate my tennis elbow, but so far so good. The spin is so good that I really want it to keep up with my old arms, but time will tell.8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful.

If you play tennis casually then any string will do just fine because you most likely wont even notice the differences or how it affects your playstyle. That's the case with me too and if it doesnt affect me, I just need to adjust to it, which I have. I normally like my strings tight so with these I did the same. The strings also feel somewhat light- making the racket lighter too. Not an amazing difference but still subtle when swinging and strokes. Gamma's a good brand as well and with these they were aiming for something eco-friendly.Color is quite nice and stands out a bit but don't let it disctract you. Overall these are some decent strings and I could't want less.

I've been using Gamma stuff for years and figured a nice set of strings was in order. I've been using the cheap strings lately and this was a bit of a splurge for me. Stepping up a bit does make a difference. They fell as though they will last a lot longer than the cheap stuff and when playing, the strings stay aligned much better - the cheap ones slide around a lot and need to be realigned often.Outside of the play aspect, I really like the color - I've been using black and white strings and they do the job, but don't have that wow factor. These look pretty sweet on my racquet and everyone notices!Overall I am very satisfied, I can't complain about anything I've ever purchased from Gamma.
