Clamp had to be modified to fit the Whisper barrel . The release clip would detach after the second or third shot from shot vibration . Even tried tightening the bottom pad using slip jointed pliers to no avail .

It works fine. Wish it had longer available options amd no other companies have 30mm barrel options for mounting

Legs are a bit short, not extendable. Only way you can make them longer is to unscrew the caps, that will add max 3/4in to legs. If you keep unscrewing them will eventually come off. There is a spring inside. (As you can imagine I did unscrew them all the way) Legs are stiff so a bit oil would help to fold them back and forth. Ring is fine, however no matter how tight I was screwing the bolt it kept moving on the barrel. Padding on the inside of the ring consist of one layer of sticky tape. Yup that’s all. I cut off some dense foam and glued inside and instead of the tape, it did the trick for me.

I was quite excited, seemed well made has the options for multiple sizes. Then I noticed it's quite short, the legs don't extend. What really got me is the quick release is so weak I can't even clamp it on to the rifle and keep it on there it just pops right open. Is this a design flaw or is it just crappie workmanship or did I just get a bad one? Like somebody else said it should be a screw tightening clamp instead of a quick release.

The item look's good but ! hi try to install it on my riffle and i couldn't thigh it on the barrel,The clamp would open so it would slide.Not a good fit for my riffle.

light weight & durable.....doesnt fit my silent cat barrel , tho it does fit on noise reduction at end of barrel actually quite well.had a friend who is a machinist at our local airport add 6 inches to the length. Using same material orginally made of aircraft aluminum. Snapped off the rubber feet and snapped on to the extension....its a 10 star bipod now..lol

I bought this bipod for my Gamo Whisper Fusion Pro 1400fps .177. As stated in the item description, this bipod fits barrel diameters 11mm (.43") - 30mm (1.13"), so it fit my 1-1/16" diameter rifle barrel perfectly. The bipod is well constructed, it has rounded polymer feet on the legs. The legs lock in two positions, in the down position (perpendicular to the barrel) and in the up position (parallel to the barrel). It has a polymer strip in the upper and lower section of the barrel fastener ring which helps prevent scratching of the barrel. It has a barrel compression fitting at the top and bottom of the barrel fastener ring for tightening. I only needed to use the bottom compression fitting to secure it to my rifle. This bipod does not have adjustable leg height, and it only elevates the end of the barrel about 5 inches. But being small this bipod does not get in the way at all when cocking the barrel. It looks really sharp on the rifle, and I plan on leaving it on all the time. This bipod does not weight the rifle down, and if I need more elevation I will just look around for something to place the bipod on.
